Syllabus AI
Syllabus AI turns a university syllabus into something you can study from. Every course is broken into its units, and each unit has a quiz and an AI-generated lesson one click away. This page is for students who want to study a university course.
Open Learn → Syllabus AI in the sidebar. The page is headed Syllabus Generator. You need to be signed in.
If Syllabus AI is missing from the sidebar, your platform has not switched it on. Ask your administrator.
Find your syllabus
Uploaded Syllabi lists every syllabus already on the platform. Search for your university or course. If it is there, you can start right away — see Studying a syllabus.

| University name is required | University name is required |
Requesting is free. Nothing is charged until you generate something from the syllabus.
Track your requests
Select My Requests under the request panel (the badge shows how many you have). It lists your latest requests with a status:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Pending | Waiting for an administrator |
| Approved | Accepted; processing follows, then a Syllabus Ready! notification |
| Rejected | Not accepted. The reviewer's reason is shown underneath. |
What processing produces
Processing reads the PDF and splits it into courses, and each course into units with their titles and content. It does not write any lessons by itself: lessons appear as students generate them from units, as described below.
Studying a syllabus
Open a syllabus to see its totals — Courses, Units, Lessons Generated — and a search box for courses by name or code.
Each unit offers:
| Button | What it does |
|---|---|
| Take a Quiz | Shows the quizzes already made for that unit, or makes a new one: pick Easy, Normal or Hard. A new quiz costs 1 Jolt, charged only if it is created, and plays as a spot quiz. |
| Generate Lesson | Opens Learn AI with the unit's topic already filled in. Costs 25 Jolt. |
| View Lessons | Lessons other students already generated for this unit — free to read (Other users have generated lessons for this unit.) |
| Copy link | A direct link to the unit, to share with classmates |
If a classmate already generated a lesson for the unit, reading theirs costs nothing. Generate your own when you want a different angle or level.
Lessons you generate from a syllabus also appear under My Syllabi Lessons in Learn AI.
Select a unit's title to open it in a larger view with its full content and the same buttons. When a unit already has lessons, the view says AI Lessons Available.
A roadmap for a whole course
Each course row has a button on the right:
- Generate Roadmap — builds a roadmap covering that course. You confirm the 25 Jolt in a Generate Course Roadmap dialog first.
- View Roadmaps — appears instead once the course has roadmaps, with a count.
