Events
Events are timed capture-the-flag competitions. For a fixed window, registered players or clans deploy the event's challenge labs, capture flags and climb the event's own leaderboard.
By the end of this page you will know how to register, what you can and cannot do while an event is live, and what happens when it ends.
Open Events in the sidebar.
How an event runs
| Status | What you can do |
|---|---|
| Upcoming | Read the event details and register, if registration is open. A countdown shows Event Starts In. |
| Live (shown as Started) | Deploy the event's labs, start missions and submit flags. A countdown shows Time Remaining. |
| Ended | Nothing is scored. Flag submission is locked. |
| Retired | The labs reopen for practice at a reduced value. Captures no longer count for the event. |
1. Read the event page
Each event has these tabs:
| Tab | Shows |
|---|---|
| Info | Overview, prizes, prerequisites, highlights, and the event's Rules and Regulations |
| Challenges | The event's labs |
| Leaderboard | The event leaderboard |
| Clans | Who is taking part |
| Trends | Captures and activity over the course of the event |
| Clan Dashboard | Your clan's progress in this event, once you are registered |
Read Rules and Regulations before you register. They are set by the organisers of each event, and you agree to them by taking part.
2. Register
Events are either solo or team events.
| Event | Who registers | Needs |
|---|---|---|
| Solo | You, for yourself | To be signed in |
| Team | A clan admin, for the whole clan | A clan with a member count inside the event's minimum and maximum |
Click the register button on the event page (Register Clan on team events). Once you are in, it changes to Clan Registered. If you are signed out you will see Login to Register instead.

Registration can be refused. The message tells you why:
| Message | Why |
|---|---|
| Registration is not live for this event! | The registration window is closed |
| Registration is full | The event has reached its limit |
| Only clan admin can register! Ask your admin to register. | Team event, and you are not a clan admin |
| you need to be in a clan to register! | Team event, and you have no clan |
| Clan members are less than minimum requirement… / more than maximum requirement… | Your clan's size is outside the event's range |
| This event is invite-only… | Only invited players or clans can take part |
| This event automatically registers qualified teams from the previous round… | A later round of a series — see below |
| You're blocked from registering!… | Contact support if you think this is a mistake |
Rounds
Some events run as a series of rounds. A later round is open only to those who registered for the previous round and finished near the top of its leaderboard. Often they are registered for you automatically. Organisers can also admit extra "wildcard" entries.
Your clan is locked for the event
Once your clan is registered for a team event, its roster is locked for the event — or the whole series — until it is over. You cannot take the clan above the event's maximum size or below its minimum, and the clan cannot be deleted. The error tells you the date the lock lifts.
3. Play while the event is live
Deploy the event's labs from its Challenges tab. Deploying is refused until everything is in place:
| Message | Means |
|---|---|
| You have not registered for the event! | Register first, on the Events page |
| Event has not started yet! Starts on… | Wait for the start time |
| Waiting for event launch ceremony… | Some events open with a live launch; labs unlock when the organisers start it |
Missions, flags and hints then work exactly as in any challenge lab: each start creates a fresh flag unique to you or your team, a wrong flag ends that attempt, and hints cost Jolt.
When an event is on hold
Organisers can pause a live event, for example to fix a broken lab. While it is on hold you will see "Event is temporarily on hold for maintenance. Flag submission is currently blocked." Keep working — submit your flag when the hold is lifted.
4. After the event
When the event ends: "This event has ended. Flag submission is locked until the lab is retired." The final leaderboard stands.
When the organisers retire the event's labs, they reopen for practice. They pay reduced Zeal and captures do not appear on the event leaderboard.
The event leaderboard
The Leaderboard tab counts only flags captured inside the event window. Players or clans are ranked by Zeal earned in the event; ties go to whoever got there in less time. Platform administrators are not ranked.
It shows each entry's rank, league, Zeal acquired, progress, percentile and achievements.
Disqualification
Organisers can disqualify any player or clan that breaks the event's Rules and Regulations or the platform's fair-play policy — for example by sharing flags or playing on more than one account. Decisions on disqualification, final rankings and prizes are the organisers' to make.
