Community and learning
This page covers the admin pages for the social and learning side of the platform: clans, clubs, CTF events, Learn AI lessons, syllabus uploads and chat reports, plus the admin-only controls that appear on the ordinary community pages.
Each group appears in the admin sidebar only while its module is on. See Modules.
Clans
Admin Panel → CTF & Events → Clans (/admin/clans), headed "Clan
Management".
Clans are the teams people form for challenge labs and CTF events. The table lists each clan's name, username (a link to the clan's page), members, status and creation date.
Deactivate hides a clan; Activate brings it back. Both act immediately with no confirmation and are recorded in server logs only.
A clan registered for an event plays as a team. Deactivating it during an event can take the whole team out of it.
Clubs
Admin Panel → CTF & Events → Clubs (/admin/clubs)
Clubs are communities with their own members, discussions and tiers.
Moderation
Search by name, slug or owner, and filter by Active, Archived or All. The table shows each club's owner, tier, quality, members, visibility and creation date.
On active clubs:
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Promote / demote tier | Asks for the target tier, 1 to 5 |
| Force archive | Closes the club. Members lose access. Asks for confirmation. |
There is no un-archive button. Be sure before you force-archive a club.
Tier Config
The club tier ladder: each tier's name and member cap. Save applies it immediately to every club; Reset returns to the defaults.
On a club's own page
Admins see Club Settings and a feature/unfeature toggle on any club's page. Club owners and club moderators can moderate inside their own club only.
Events
Admin Panel → CTF & Events → Events (/admin/events), headed "Events
Management".
In this release this page is a read-only list: the event definitions the platform has loaded, and the events that exist, each with a View link. Events cannot be created, edited or launched from here; your engineering team sets them up.
When an event is ready and live, admins see a Launch button on the event's own page to start its launch ceremony. How events work for players is in Events.
Learn AI
Admin Panel → Education → Learn AI (/admin/learn), headed "Learn AI
Management".
Lists the AI-generated lessons on the platform, with View for each.
Editor Pick marks a lesson as recommended; Unpick removes the mark. Both act immediately without confirmation.
In this release the status column always reads "Draft", the author appears as
an ID rather than a name, and the list stops after ten pages. To find a
specific lesson, use the All (Admin) tab on the ordinary Learn page
(/learn) instead.
Deleting a lesson is done from the lesson itself: admins see a delete button on any lesson card on the Learn page.
On Roadmaps, admins also see an All tab and can open private roadmaps.
Syllabus Requests
Admin Panel → Education → Syllabus Requests (/admin/syllabus_requests)
Learners upload their university syllabus as a PDF and ask for it to be turned into a structured syllabus on the platform. You decide which are processed.
Counts show Pending, Approved and Rejected, with a tab for each and All. Each row shows the learner, university, file, size and when it was submitted.
| Action | What happens |
|---|---|
| Approve | Confirm "Approve and process this syllabus?". The PDF is processed and the learner is notified. |
| Reject | Give a reason. The learner is notified and sees the reason. |
If processing fails after you approve, the learner is still told it is being processed, and the failure is visible only in server logs. The learner is also not sent a link to the finished syllabus. If someone says their syllabus never appeared, ask your engineering team to check.
Message Reports
Admin Panel → Community → Message Reports (/admin/reports/messages)
Chat messages users have reported. This is the Message Reports tab of the Reports page. Each row shows the sender, a preview, who reported it, their reasons and when.
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Dismiss | Marks the report as checked; the message stays |
| Delete | Marks the report as acted on. Asks for confirmation. |
| Reopen | Back to pending |
The message keeps showing in chat after Delete. If a message must come down urgently, ask your engineering team.
Discussions
Discussion moderation happens on the discussion pages themselves:
| Who | Can |
|---|---|
| Admins | Set Featured / Remove from Featured on any post, and delete or hide any content |
| Platform moderators | Delete or hide any content |
| Club owners and club moderators | Delete or hide content in their own club |
Reported posts, answers and comments also queue in the Discussion Reports tab of the Reports page, where Remove takes the content down and closes every report on it. Make someone a moderator from their user page; see Users.
