Overview​

Connectivity is a feature that you can use to register your devices, add reserved IPs, and create custom Selfmade Ninja domains.

My Devices​

Device Registration​

The mobile phones/tablets that you use for accessing the playgrounds or Lab modules can be registered under My Devices.

Adding Your Device​

How to add your device:

  1. Click on My Devices
  2. Click on Add Device
  3. Follow the registration process

My Network​

IP Address Reservation​

You might need to reserve IP addresses in order to connect your devices, which can be done under My Network.

  • Reserve IP addresses for your devices
  • Configure network settings
  • Manage connectivity options
  • Monitor network performance

Adding Reserved IPs​

You can reserve an IP address while adding your device in the My Devices page.

My Domains​

Custom Domain Creation​

Domains can be used to create a custom domain in case you need to access Labs over the internet.

Domain Types​

Selfmade Ninja Domains​

  • Custom subdomains provided by the platform
  • Automatic SSL certificates
  • Seamless integration with labs

Third-party Domains​

  • Use your own domain names
  • Manual DNS configuration required
  • Point to your lab instances

Domain Configuration​

In case of 3rd party domains, you will have to manually modify the DNS records of your domain to point to your lab. Domains are used to show your work to the WWW over SSL seamlessly.
